Primary Election

Last night we took the girls and Quinan to a primary election party for Francis Allen. It was a nice get together of about twenty to thirty people, the majority were Francis’ family. Ken and Jen had fun eating goodies and drinking soda.

I was completely surprised when Francis took the girls into the living room and pulled out the dominos for a number of games. I bet they spent at least thirty minutes playing, just Francis, Ken and Jen. I doubt any other candidate in this primary would have taken that much time during their own election party to have fun with someone else’s kids. Quinan was held by Grandma Dilly, who is no newcomer to campaigning. Q slept soundly, and made Dilly’s terrier rather jealous.

Francis won by the way. Yeah!
